Comparison - Tool layer for AI agents
Winy vs Composio
Composio gives your agents hands in 1,500+ apps; Winy gives you a canvas to work with those agents. Different layers, used together.
Composio sits between AI agents and apps, giving them tools for 1,500+ apps with managed OAuth and API keys, through SDKs, a CLI, MCP and a plugin for Claude Code and Codex.
Winy is a native infinite-canvas notebook for Mac, iPad and iPhone, where real agent sessions such as Claude Code and Codex sit on the board as live cards next to your notes, ink and images.
They are not competitors: Composio extends what an agent can do, and Winy is where you watch and steer the agent while it does it.

Which one is for you
Choose Composio if
- Your agent needs to act in Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Salesforce or other apps without you wiring up each API and its auth.
- You are building an agent product and want tools and OAuth handled for your users.
- You want Claude Code or Codex to find, connect and run app actions from the terminal.
Choose Winy if
- You want to see and steer your agents while they work, on one canvas instead of scattered terminal windows.
- You think with notes, sketches and a Pencil, and want that thinking on the same board as the agents and visible to them.
- You want your agent sessions on your Mac, iPad and iPhone, with the Mac running them.
Using both
Use both. Winy runs any CLI agent, and that agent can use whatever tools it is configured with, so if you have set up the Composio plugin or CLI for Claude Code or Codex, that agent can use Composio's app tools while it runs as a card on your Winy board.
Questions
How do I use Composio with Claude Code?
Install the Composio CLI, run composio login, then composio setup, which configures Claude Code and Codex. You can also add the Composio plugin from inside Claude Code. The agent can then search for tools, connect accounts and run actions.
Does Composio work in Winy?
Winy has no Composio integration of its own. Winy runs your CLI agents as they are, so a Claude Code or Codex session that you have set up with Composio keeps those tools when it runs on a Winy board.
Is Winy a Composio alternative?
No. Composio connects agents to apps; Winy is a canvas where you work with agents. Winy has no app connectors of its own.
Is Composio free?
Composio's Hobby plan is free with 100,000 tool calls and 50,000 trigger events a month. Pro is $29 a month, with usage billed beyond the included amounts.
Thinking is Winning
Think with your agents.
Winy is a Mac, iPad and iPhone canvas where you think and work with AI agents in one place. Better thinking in, better output.
