Comparison - Connected workspace
Winy vs Notion
Notion is a team workspace of pages and databases with its own AI; Winy is a personal canvas where your coding agents run live.
Notion is a connected workspace for docs, wikis, tasks and databases, with Notion AI and Notion Agent built in and a hosted MCP server that tools like Claude Code can connect to.
Winy is a native infinite-canvas notebook for Mac, iPad and iPhone where real agent sessions such as Claude Code and Codex live as cards next to your notes, ink and images.
The real difference is where the agent runs: Notion's agent works on your Notion content, while Winy shows your own terminal agents running live on the page you are thinking on.

Questions
Does Notion work with Claude Code?
Yes. Notion MCP is a remote MCP server hosted by Notion, and clients such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can connect to it to read and edit your Notion pages.
How is using Claude Code in Winy different from Notion MCP?
With Notion MCP, Claude Code reaches into Notion from somewhere else. In Winy, the Claude Code session itself is a live card on your board, so you watch it work and answer it right beside your notes.
Is Notion AI free?
The Free and Plus plans include a limited trial of Notion AI. The full Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search come with the Business plan at $20 per member per month.
Is Winy a Notion replacement?
For personal notes and thinking alongside agents, it can be. Winy has no databases, wiki permissions or multiplayer, so it does not replace Notion as a team workspace.
Is Winy available now?
Winy is in early access. You can join the waitlist on winy.ai.
