Winy

Comparison - Parallel agent workspace

Winy vs Superset

Superset gives every agent its own worktree and walks the diff to a merge; Winy runs agents as cards on a canvas next to your notes.

Superset, from superset.sh and unrelated to Apache Superset, is a desktop workspace that runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and other CLI agents in parallel, each task in its own Git worktree, with side-by-side diff review and merge in one window.

Winy is a native infinite-canvas notebook for Mac, iPad and iPhone, where real agent sessions sit on the board as live cards beside your notes, ink and images.

Both answer the question of running many agents at once, but Superset is organized around tasks, worktrees and merges, and Winy is organized around a board you think on.

Which one is for you

Choose Superset if

  • You want each agent in its own Git worktree, set up per task, so ten agents can work ten branches without colliding.
  • Your loop is task, diff, approve, merge, and you want that flow in one app, with your editor one click away.
  • You want team features like Linear and Slack integrations, remote access and scheduled automations on a paid plan.
  • You want to read the source, which is on GitHub under the Elastic License 2.0.

Choose Winy if

  • You want to see every agent at once on one board, with status lights and a line on what each is doing, instead of switching between task workspaces.
  • You plan with notes, arrows and a Pencil, and want that thinking next to the agents and visible to them.
  • You want the full board, agent cards included, on your iPad and iPhone, or you want Winy to attach to Claude Code sessions already running in your terminal.

Questions

Is Superset the same as Apache Superset?

No. Superset at superset.sh is a desktop app for running coding agents in parallel. Apache Superset is an unrelated data visualization project.

Is Superset free?

Superset has a free plan for one user with local workspaces, the desktop app and the CLI. Pro is $20 per user per month, or $15 billed yearly, and adds remote access, automations, integrations and the mobile app. You bring your own agent subscriptions.

Does Winy use Git worktrees like Superset?

Not built in today. Each Winy card runs wherever you start it. If a worktree per agent is the main thing you need, Superset does that.

Is Winy a Superset alternative?

For watching and steering many agents at once, yes, from a different direction. Superset is built around worktrees and merges; Winy puts each session on a canvas next to your notes, on Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Thinking is Winning

Think with your agents.

Winy is a Mac, iPad and iPhone canvas where you think and work with AI agents in one place. Better thinking in, better output.
